Fantazine, the fantastic superhero fanzine

Staff from journalism and publishing courses at London College of Communication helped a group of 30 children create a zine, as part of a programme of summer activities organised by Grief Encounter for those children affected by Grenfell Tower in West London. The children each created a page (some even created a complete fanzine) based around superheroes; whether “real” or their own creation. The pages were then scanned and turned into a zine—under supervision from the children—and then printed over at London College of Fashion. By the end of the day each of the children had a printed and bound copy of the zine showing everyone’s work.
